Sliding & Bypass Shower Doors

A swinging door needs clearance. A sliding or bypass door does not, which makes it a good choice for tub alcoves, tight bathrooms and wide openings. Two panels glide past each other on rollers, and modern systems use sturdy glass, concealed hardware and tracks that are easy to wipe.

We install framed, semi-frameless and frameless sliders across Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and we match the rollers and tracks to the weight of the glass. A slider only works as well as the roller system and the plumb of the opening, so we check both and adjust until the door glides without scraping.

FAQ

Common questions about sliding & bypass doors

Are sliding doors hard to clean?

Modern tracks are designed for wiping, and a protective coating on the glass helps.

Can a slider replace a curtain?

Yes. A glass slider is a popular upgrade from a curtain and rod.

Why does my slider stick?

Worn rollers, dirty tracks or a track that is out of level are common reasons. We can adjust or replace them.
