Built-In Benches & Seats

A built-in bench makes showering more comfortable for everyone. It helps with shaving, with washing feet and with resting, and it provides a place to sit for anyone who gets tired or unsteady. A good bench is the right height, slightly sloped to drain, and strong enough to hold weight, with no sharp corners.

We build benches from solid framing, waterproof them as part of the shower and finish them in tile, stone or solid surface to match the walls. In Nashville and Middle Tennessee bathrooms we also install fold-down teak or composite seats where space is tight.
