How we get it right

A lasting shower comes from six steps done right

Most of what decides how a shower performs happens before the first tile goes up: checking the floor and walls for moisture, repairing the framing, building the pan, applying the membrane and flood testing it. Skipping those steps is how new tile ends up over old problems. Here is how we keep yours on track.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What shower services do you offer?

We build and remodel showers, convert tubs to showers, install walk-in, curbless, steam, tile, acrylic and solid surface showers, set up accessible and aging-in-place layouts, fit frameless, semi-frameless and sliding glass, upgrade fixtures and controls, and repair leaks, pans, grout, caulk, tile, valves and glass.

How do I choose between tile, panels and an acrylic unit?

It depends on the look you want, how much cleaning you will do and the size of the space. Tile has the widest design choice, panels and solid surface have fewer joints to clean and acrylic units are quick to install. We bring samples and explain the tradeoffs without pushing one product.

Can you turn my tub into a shower?

Yes. A tub-to-shower conversion is one of our most common projects. We remove the tub, rebuild the alcove with a new pan, waterproofing and finishes, and install fixtures and glass.

How do I know if my shower is leaking?

Ceiling stains below the bathroom, soft floors, loose or hollow tile, a musty smell and water on the floor are common signs. We use moisture readings and controlled water tests to find the source.

What happens behind the tile?

Behind the tile is the backer, the waterproofing membrane and the pan. These layers keep water out of the walls and floor. On every new shower we seal corners, seams and fixture openings and flood test the pan before tile goes on.

Can you make a shower accessible?

Yes. We build curbless and roll-in showers, benches, grab bars with solid backing, handheld sprays and slip-resistant floors, and we are glad to work with your therapist or family.

Do you replace shower doors and glass?

Yes. We install frameless, semi-frameless, sliding and custom glass, replace hardware and seals, repair sticking and leaking doors and apply protective coatings.

Which cities do you serve?

We serve Middle Tennessee, with a page for each main city on this site. If you do not see your town, call 615-431-3789 and we will tell you whether we can come out.

Can I plan my shower online first?

Yes. The Shower Planner on this site lets you choose a shower style, size, goal, wall finish and color, then add glass, a bench, a niche, a rain head and more. It draws your shower with a callout for each part, lists what goes into the project and suggests services. You can send it with the form.
