Waterproofing, Repair & Maintenance
When a shower pan fails, water can reach the subfloor, so we rebuild it with a new membrane and a proper slope.

A failed pan can show up as water stains on the ceiling below, a musty smell, a soft floor or a shower that never seems to dry. Old liners crack, drains separate from the pan and mortar beds lose their slope. Left alone, the leak can damage framing and encourage mold.
We open the shower, check the subfloor and framing, repair hidden damage and install a new pan with the right slope and drain. Across Nashville and Middle Tennessee we use mortar beds with continuous membranes or prefabricated bases, depending on the shower, and we flood test before tile.
