Roll-In Showers

A roll-in shower removes the curb entirely so a wheelchair can enter, and it provides enough space for the chair, a seat and a caregiver if needed. The floor slopes gently to the drain, the controls are within reach from a seated position and the glass or curtain arrangement keeps splashing down.

We design roll-in showers across Nashville and Middle Tennessee to match each user's chair size, transfer style and daily routine. The drain, slope and waterproofing are planned carefully so water stays in the shower and the surface is safe to enter wet or dry.

FAQ

Common questions about roll-in showers

How large does a roll-in shower need to be?

It depends on the chair and the person using it. We measure the real chair and plan the space around it.

Is a roll-in shower the same as a curbless shower?

They are close. A roll-in is a curbless shower sized and equipped for a wheelchair.

Will water spill onto the bathroom floor?

A good slope, drain and glass or curtain plan keeps water inside the shower.
